Positive Reinforcement Nursing (PRN INC PC) is a North Carolina based professional corporation that provides doctor’s with after-hours assistance with patient calls. PRN was established in 1996 by Wendy Gillispie, MSN and Shelley Rogers, RN. These two entrepreneurs met over 20 years ago while working as RN’s in a Labor and Delivery unit. After five years of hourly commutes, twelve hour shifts, combined with growing families Ms. Gillispie and Ms. Rogers began looking for alternatives. Their vision soon became a reality with the encouragement and support of a few local doctors. PRN was born through faith in God and an awesome friendship with the mission to provide after-hour call for physicians and their patients.
Today PRN INC PC is a one of the largest privately owned triage companies in North Carolina and utilizes state of the art software provided by Triage Logic, working with over 800 providers in thirteen states including providing care for multiple hospitals and health departments.
These two friends and business partners have now a combined total of seven children (five thanks to Wendy) and have been married to their spouses for a combined total of forty-eight years.

- Provide quality, professional, caring nursing triage services to their patients.
- Provide the highest degree of professional nursing triage service available to their doctors.
- Provide their contractors with the privilege of continuing their professional careers without having to sacrifice time away from their families.
- Provide physically disabled nurses the opportunity to continue utilizing their nursing abilities.
